Robert C. Byrd Honors Scholarship

The Robert C. Byrd Honors Scholarship awards graduating high school students who are high achievers. You must have a 3.5 GPA to even consider this scholarship.

TEACH Grant Program

If teaching is in your future you need to check out the TEACH Grant Program. It is the Teacher Education Assistance for College and Higher Education Grant Program and it can provide you with up to four grand a year. They want you to teach in high need subject areas when you are finished with college. If you fail to do this for four years you owe the money back.
