Belhaven College has a rewards program based on your ACT or SAT scores. For a SAT 930-960 the scholarship is $500.00. For an SAT of 1570-1600 the award is $8,000. They make studying hard and doing good in school very attractive.

Mississippi Eminent Scholars Grant

Does academic excellence describe you? If so, don?t miss out on the Mississippi Eminent Scholars Grant. Only smart kids need apply because it is a merit based award and you must have a GPA of 3.5 or better. They give out money to the amount of twenty five hundred a year.

Nissan Motors Scholarship

Nissan Motors in Mississippi has a scholarship program. You should be able to prove financial need and have at least a 2.5 GPA. They money can be used for either a two year or four year college and the amounts vary.

Law Enforcement and Firefighters Scholarship

If you are a son or daughter of a public service employee killed or wounded on the job you may be eligible for this scholarship. It is the Mississippi Law Enforcement and Firefighters Scholarship and is strictly for Mississippi residents attending a Mississippi college or university. These scholarships could provide as much as full tuition so if you are in this group of students take advantage of it.
