Parenting The Gifted Child

books about gifted children

The question will always be asked, are gifted children born that way or raised that way?  I believe it is some of both.  A perfectly normal child, raised by exceptional parents, could easily be classified as gifted and receive special attention all through the school years.  It is just as possible for a gifted child to never be noticed as such because of bad parenting.  Parenting the gifted child should be a lot like what parents should do to all of their bright, wonderful children, gifted or not.

The selection of reading material below should be of interest to all parents, not just the ones parenting a gifted child.  These are the techniques used by an elite group of parents in our country.  Take some time to study some of these books, learn from the experts, and treat all of your children like they were gifted.  You just might like the results.
