Many moms and dads do not realize the importance of parenting babies. They do not just need to be fed, changed and put down for naps, they need parenting. Babies are learning every minute their eyes are open, and it's the parents who are doing the teaching. What are you teaching your baby?
Every moment you spend with your baby can be a teaching one. You teach them love when you hold them and comfort them. You teach discipline when you have to take something away from them, or when you say it's nap time and they think differently.
You can also be teaching your baby to talk, count, read and learn hand-eye coordination.
