It is nice to see the state of Arkansas placing this kind of importance on it's schools and the children who attend them. Green schools not only save money over the years, money that can be used to further education, they provide healthier learning environments for the kids.
Green schools are more than just the buildings themselves, and any school can go green. Parents, teachers and students can all learn about alternative energy and sustainable living and bring that into the classroom and into extra curricular activities.
