Parenting brings many daily challenges, from bed wetting to adolescent depression. When solving parenting problems, always remember, you
are not the first parent to have these problems and you don't have to go it alone. Seek help and advice from people who have been there
before. When it comes to parenting, we just do not have the time for trial and error. Learn from your friends, and learn from experts,
but never try to do it alone.
This photo is of a terminally ill child on a group activity with many other children, also ill from various disorders. We would spend several days a year with this group and learned a lot about how the different parents dealt with the particular problems their children brought them. The one common thread with these parents is that they all had a support group. Part of the support came from this group we belonged to where we all got together to celebrate the lives of our children.
Solving problems with your children means dealing with topics like anger, depression, the explosive child, the strong willed teen, a child with autism, hyperactivity and the list goes on and on. Find the help you need so that you can help your child. Find the support you need also.
