The prenatal and newborn years are special, precious times. I remember all the hours I spent looking at the pictures in the book before my first daughter was born. Every week I would show everybody who would look what my new baby looked like at this stage of development. I raise baby horses now and my wife and I still do the same thing, always amazed at what they look like at three weeks, and then ten weeks and so on. Prenatal development and birth are truly amazing. The most important things to learn about prenatal are nutrition and proper medical exams. Take the time to do some reading so these things can be done for the best growth and birth of your child.
Newborns are the most wonderful creatures ever invented. Give them all the love you possibly can. Make sure that love includes learning everything there is to know about them so you can do the most for them.
